I guess I will be the first person on this topic, I will try to remain calm. Back when Ghost Plumbers first aired I thought the topic of paranormal TV was great, I have since changed my mind. Unfortunately, TV is entertainment media first and foremost, if a show isn't getting good ratings, that show is canceled. In order to get good ratings, a show about the paranormal needs to get paranormal results, evidence, etc etc etc. How many of us have watched a commercial for an upcoming show and seen a certain someone jump out of his shorts, and then when the show aired, we tuned in and watched it only to find that it was a bug (that is until we realized the gimmick). Nowadays, there are more TV shows geared towards the paranormal than I can ever remember. Paranormal State, Ghosthunters, Most Haunted, Ghost Adventurers, and many more I am sure, including The Othersiders. In case you haven't heard, The Othersiders is a Paranormal TV show on Cartoon Network in the CN Real lineup. . and yes, the team is comprised of kids. I honestly think that the N.E.S.S.S. team has more experience years than these kids have living years. All and all, I do not watch Paranormal TV series about investigating, I literally find myself yelling at the TV. The idea that there has been "alleged" faked evidence also annoys me to death, and I think it throws a huge shadow of doubt over the entire Paranormal community. Obviously this is my opinion, and I willing to listen to anyone elses.
